snackdaddy wrote:As frustrated as I get, and it probably shows in the chat, I was pretty happy they didn't throw in the towel and actually came back from 3 TD's down to tie it. I never like to lose but I knew it had to happen sooner or later. This game showed we are never out of it.

But the one thing that concerns me is the play of the defense. Marcus Peters has been terrible. No one can sugar coat that. The tackling overall was poor. Especially in the first half. There were a lot of first down passes that were short of the stick. I have to think the Saints saw how poorly they tackle and put that in their game plan figuring they could move the chains with missed tackles.

For now, I want to look forward to putting a strangle hold on the division by beating the seahawks next week. I also want to see more than a first round home game and first round exit this time around. It won't happen if they don't fix the defense.

I can't see winning a championship with our first half's defense but can with our second half defense. Despite Peter's horrible playing. He was covering a premier receiver but still. That TD was all on him getting distracted by a squirrel.

I am with you. And it was fun in chat today.

GO RAMS!!!

Whelp, that stung. Of all of my Rams road trips this was by far the most partisan crowd I’ve been in.

At least there are a hundred + bars for me to drown my sorrow’s in.

My takeaway is the Rams couldn’t tackle for crap today.

My first time making an insta post after a loss.

Part of playing a game is sometimes losing, and can’t not post after a loss if always posting after a win.

so peters was off the field for 29% of the saints offensive snaps, wonder what bress' statline looked like during that time? my guess is probably not too shabby.

You misread it. He played in all 71 of the defensive snaps.
