I agree. I don't like what I've seen since he was cut and I have some real suspicions about him in '19 but that doesn't erase what he did before then. Obviously it didn't end well but he was a bonafide star and helped put the Rams back on the map during their glorious return to LA. His high points far outweigh the low ones.

If I can get over Dickerson leaving then I can deal with Gurley just not working out. He earned that big contract and for that, he deserves to be remembered fondly. It's too bad things didn't work out better but I'm certainly not going to wish he blows both of his knees out. We're not talking Rodney Harrison here. ;)

This was the easy part, let's see how his knee holds up after 10 games or so...

Todd Gurley finally passes Falcons physical

The Falcons announced their deal with running back Todd Gurley over two months ago.

It was finally complete this week.

According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, Gurley was finally able to get to Atlanta and take a physical Monday. He passed it.

While that might seem like a boilerplate part of executing a contract, Gurley’s drop-off with the Rams raised plenty of questions about his health status.

Those concerns have even been shared by Falcons coaches, so as much as they’ve tried to make it a non-story, it will remain one.

At least now, they’ve checked off the box to make the contract official, so we can now see for ourselves this season if he’s well enough to return to his previous form.

Why does it remind me of this scene from "Skyfall"?

It does though I think kick in an offset, which ought to give the Rams a bit more cap room

Sometimes I think Gurley likes being a celebrity more than he likes playing football.
