I think the Broncos are in play big time.

Don't be surprised if he goes to the Jaguars. I know he wants to go to a contender, but the Jags will feel very familiar to Coop, and I have a feeling they are about to be pretty f'n legit, and very soon.

Where ever he goes they have to have a top QB or up and comer (Nix) and great play designer/caller.

PARAM wrote:Reading the article on ARod, the Jets had less of a cap hit in 2025 by designating him a post June 1 (like Kupp). Had there been a trade, the entire cap hit would have occured in 2025 (49 mil for AR). So Kupp, not being traded actually saved the Rams 2025 money. Considering we wouldn't have received more than a 5th, smart move. Now don't go signing with SF or Seattle!!!

It's less of a cap hit but you have to carry his contract until June 1st which means you get the money and cap relief, for the most part, after you can spend it...

Detroit might actually be the best fit tbh.

I like that idea. Like it a lot.

And as long as we're doing pie in the sky on this, how about another team that has not been mentioned and almost certainly won't happen: Green Bay. Josh Jacobs was quoted as saying the Packers need a vet WR, somebody who knows how it's done. Sounds like Kupp to me. Coach up Jordan Love. And LaFleur knows him well. Good fit offensively.

With Davante Adams on the Rams, and Cooper on the Packers, I think that would fall into the category of poetic justice? At least a temporal harmonic.

Name one team that doesn't want Kupp .... err scratch that ... name two.

I hope he gets paid as he deserves it. I also hope he ends up in the AFC and especially not in the NFC West. As valuable as he is as a player, his football IQ is about as good as it gets. He's like getting a great player and coach in the same deal.

As much as he deserves it, he's not going to get top dollar.

Davante Adams didn't get top dollar (anymore) and signed for a really reasonable number. Kupp's not going to do any better.

To be honest, I thought he'd be signed by now. It wouldn't need to take very long, as long as he's realistic in his asking price.
