It does mean that Bennett has one fewer camp arm to compete against.

Rams don't do rookie camp. I wonder how they decide these guys aren't gonna cut it? Failed physicals? Onboarding didn't go well?

We had 45 Ram bodies signed for 2023 prior to Draft/UDFA Weekend
PLUS....14 Drafted bodies
PLUS....26 UDFA bodies
PLUS.....1 Brett Rypien
YEILDS 86 TOTAL RAM BODIES
MINUS WOODBY, HUDSON & JESTER TODAY.....EQUALS 83 TOTAL RAM BODIES (I think :? )

I like the 6'6 TE the Rams drafted out of Clemson (Allen).

Although, I did have high hopes for this kid as well.

I think they are at 84 bodies with Taron Vincent the Ohio State DL coming in (Troy Vincent's son).
Let us remember that Timarcus Davis the Arizona State DB was an original of our 26 UDFAs, as were Hudson, Jester and Woodbey, who were cut.

I think we are going to be picking over other NFL Teams castoffs, both UDFAs and Team Vets who get cut by those other 31 other NFL Teams and are seen as improvements to our extremely youthful and inexperienced 2023 Ram Roster. Which brings us up to 85 bodies for 2023 with the addition of New Orleans castoff CB Vincent Gray the 6'2" Michigan Woverine CB who was claimed successfully off waivers today.

ME: Unless Snead manufactures a trade/salary dump of a Higbee or a Havenstein, I do not see where any 2023 Ram Cap money is coming from to pay for that Rescue Cavalry of "Post-Draft UFAs" that some guys were feverously posting about here, earlier this Spring.

Los Ramos have decided to rip-off-the-bandaid-in-one-fail-swoop for 2023, and not kick anymore Dead Money down the road into 2024, when we will have some substantial 2024 Ram Cap money accumulated to enlist some meaningful & talented 2024 UFAs.

As always, JMO.

I just read on another board that 2 previously cut UDFAs, Louisville WR Tyler Hudson and Boston College S/LB Jaiden Woodbey are back with Los Ramos. If true, then I think we're up to 87 very young bodies on our roster.

They did this UDFA cut thingee last year with a few guys too....and then signed them back a coupla days later IIRC.
