They didn’t stack the box at all in the second half. Light box cover 2 date you to run. Screens aren’t the best call against that but not the worst either. They shouldn’t have abandoned them altogether. But after the whiners took the lead they went 3/out then it was 24-14 and time to throw in MCVs eyes.

Is there some kind of unwritten rule "if it works in the first half, those plays are doomed to fail in the 2nd half"?

Simple. When your offense is one dimensional this make half time adjustments pretty easy for the opposing coaching straff. No running game. Lousy offensive line. No big play threat. Pretty easy to call this one. Given the bye and the embarrassing loss to the Niners a few weeks ago the effort in this game was staggeringly weak.

Here's one of the problems.
Doesn't offer running backs or passers much chance for success.

And Stafford still threw his way! Of course he had little time.

Did anyone notice the back wide open with 20 yards around him?

THAT is what you guys are focusing on??? How about Evans looking like he’s a 10 year old Pop Warner player in pass pro. He is fucking worthless. Which has to mean everyone else at OG is beyond worthless or they would have to get the reps no?

Actually my post was to show Evans getting pancaked - rag dolled - blown to smithereens. .
At the end of the play it was obvious that Stafford wasted a throw too. He must be unnerved seeing opponents free running at him all game, every game. The line IS the problem and it looks like it will be from here on out in 22.

Ya. I was being sarcastic. Evans got slapped around multiple times. There HAS to be someone else on the roster who can put up more resistance. We need Edwards back ASAP. And even he is average at best.
