Seriously, posters here are projecting ever more what a guy means by his words.
Case in point, my reference to Los Ramos having no money to sign any FAs (maybe even FAs were have already "signed" like that Floyd guy) now means I have "no hope" for Rams success in the 2020 season.
FACT: I have been pulling for the Rams since 1967....that's heading into a 53rd season of PreSeason Rams HOPE!

Same, same when I went after Kromer a couple months ago....at that time I was also projected to be anti-McVay.
FACT: Guys in general greatly resent having words being put into their mouths.

Words have meaning. If you can convey your thoughts accurately to words, there really shouldn't be much room for misunderstanding your thoughts.

Is it something they can't overcome? No
Is it optimism for an enjoyable 2020 season? Not the way I read it.

What did I get wrong?
We're not cap strapped?
We can sign guys regardless of being cap strapped?
Not signing guys we want is good for the Rams?

I understand guys resent when somebody tries to put words in their mouth. I wasn't putting words in your mouth. Those are your words. It works both ways....guys resent being accused of putting words in others mouths.

Do you think the Rams have the RBs on the roster to run a three-back rotation?
Can they run this scheme without a deep threat like DeSean?
Is the tandem of Higbee/Everett equal to, less than or greater than Reed and Davis?
Is Goff better/worse than Cousins?

I didn't breakdown the olines, which is a definite missing part of this and would be a great addition to it.

But... no... you simply want *me* to say if I think that the 2016 offense was good, or something.

I already mentioned that without a Jackson analog, I don't think the '20 Rams can replicate what the '16 Redskins had. But it wasn't to your point so you didn't engage.

As far as the other skill positions, they pretty much line up. I don't think the Redskins had any distinct advantage at RB, QB, TE, etc. that the Rams couldn't match. But without the threat of a stud WR taking the tops off of defenses I don't think the TE's and RB's are going to be that threatening. Relatively productive but not threatening.

Rams o-line is probably a notch below the Redskins until we see more. But on paper, I don't think they match up.

They won’t have the HR threat, but Reynolds has some talents.

I would expect them to bring in a burner in the draft.

Yeah, my thoughts too. They have two of the best mid range receivers in the league in Woods and Kupp. Reynolds can run the intermediate and long routes but he's not a "burner". I hope they pick up one early in the draft.....good hands, good route tree, burner. They are there for sure.

Somewhat limited in routes.. but can contribute on reverses, WR screens and deep balls as a rookie, imo.

I would be happy with him. I also like KJ Hamler and the kid from ND. Any of those 3. But Hamler reminds me of Az (and Desean I guess too). I'm seriously hoping they go WR - RB or RB - WR with the first two. But that's probably too much to ask.

Same here. And when he is out there, DBs will have to respect/guess screen or deep ball. Don’t care that he is limited in route running right now. The threat of smoke/bubble screens, jet sweeps, and the deep 7-9 routes will be plenty for Ds to handle when they also have to account for the TEs, Kupp, Woods, and Henderson/Brown.

Duvernay can flat out fly.

For me, RB & ILB are the highest priorities in the draft.
-no one with any NFL track record of significance at either position.

Edge, WR and RB-want them both, then ILB for me.

Then OL, Kicker, S, CB

When you look at the Rams current roster for 2020, why is it that you would put RB 3rd?
Do you think it’ll be easier to get an RB?

RB and WR are 2a and b. It depends on who’s on the board in the second and third rounds and how the Rams have those players ranked and and have a feel for when they can get the actual players they have targeted. They probably have 4-5 at WR and 2-3 at RB that they like and think they have a shot at getting.
