Not only am I no expert, but I didn't even play one on TV! But I agree. Between COVID, and knowing the concerts were cancelled, they backed off a bit. BUT, looking at it, a lot of the stuff is getting to be cosmetic now and they have a month left to when they WERE going to open. Long story short, I am not concerned about it not being ready for the Rams first game... unfortunately.
One upside is more of the surrounding area should be done so it should feel a little nicer. Hard to think this was suppose to be done a year ago at one point.

I'm no expert on construction, but... does the stadium look like it is only 30 days from completion?
typical of construction issues ... things running right down to the wire. Gotta love the standoffs between the contractor and union workers and the "safety inspectors" completing the trinity.

to me it looks like there is mostly cosmetic finishing work to complete ... some of it won't be 100% ... but nothing that can't be completed before political pressure can get inspectors and contractors to come to a compromise for a concert. Escalators not finished in the next 30 days? They probably will be. Not the end of the world if some aren't ... they will (would have been) closed off by temporary plywood walls.

But what is the hurry now?

The seats at SoFi still remind me so much of the navy blue and grey shaded one at AT&T Stadium in Arlington. Looking back at my pictures taken at the Rams/Cowboys game on a Canon DSLR with no filters the colors almost match.
