There is still 1 guy available I'd love to see the Rams sign. TE Martellus Bennett. Wouldn't mind WR Pryor too

Over the past few years, the Jets have liked former Rams RBs (Richardson, and Zac Stacy).

It's strange that they would do this on the first day of free agency instead of doing it months ago.

I worry about strong personality guys like Bennett being around young players. He's beyond talented, not sure he'd be a good fit for Goff. I could be dead wrong, just my thought.

The Washington Post is reporting that the Redskins have fired GM Scot McCloughan Friday evening after two years with the team.

A source with direct knowledge of the situation attributed the team’s decision to move on from McCloughan to his ongoing issues with alcohol.

McCloughan, 45, began his executive career with the Packers as a regional scout back in in 1994. He later took over as the Seahawks director of college scouting in 2000 before being hired as the 49ers VP of player personnel in 2005.

San Francisco promoted McCloughan to GM in 2008, but he lasted just two years in the position before the two parties mutually agreed to part ways. It was later revealed that McCloughan had been dealing with personal issues with alcoholism.

McCloughan returned to Seattle and spent three years with the Seahawks before the Redskins hired him as GM in 2015.
During his time with the Redskins, McCloughan’s team produced a record of 17-14-1, which includes one playoff appearance.

Wow citing Alcohol issues, no bueno. My legal background and overall work experience in HR leads me to believe the Redskins will have a legal battle on their hands if they released that information.

Those Scots and Irish like to imbibe. So send him to Betty Ford or Cliffside Malibu ,, then bring him in as an assistant to Les.
He's done a decent job from all reports, , , other than those pesky hangovers in morning sessions.
