Yup I’ll bet this was just Rams offering vet minimum just for due diligence. And then suddenly OBJs team calls back from nowhere.

It’s Hollywood baby. Hey even the DJ experiment was worthwhile. He stretched the field and didn’t hurt the squad. So why not? Could work.

I’m not buying a jersey until we see the “we” spirit though…

I’m already hearing all the idiots on TV saying that if the Rams don’t win the Super Bowl it’s a failure.

Are the Rams favored to win the Super Bowl? No they are not. I believe the Rams are currently 7 or 8 to 1 to win it all. I doubt the OBJ acquisition will move the needle much if at all.

Allegedly this is where he wanted to be all along anyway so he should be happy. How the heck are we affording him ?

Also according former Rams safety JJ, Obj was liked and wanted in the locker room

He is more dynamic that Van or Woods. Those guys are nice players, but Kupp is the only guy that scares anyone on defense. Thing here is OBJ will get single coverage for the first time in his career. Forget the stats, he will make a difference, especially in the playoffs.

I tend to agree, hopefully he buys into the WE not ME part. Also I really didnt want OBJ on the Packers...

You know. It’s funny that “they” the media, the pundits, keep saying we’ve mortgaged our future or we’re in cap hell or the all or nothing for this year.

They said that with Goff’s draft. Gurley’s contract. Goff’s contract. AD’s contract. Ramsey’s trade and contract. Staff’s trade.

Yet somehow we get DJ, Von Miller, OBJ. I mean I’m not saying these are all winners, but haven’t we’ve proven we’ve never mortgaged our future or locked ourselves in a corner?! When will that narrative change? This is not THE year. We just know how to make a splash EVERY year (if not every few months!!)

You know who might be pissed off this afternoon? Lakers and Dodgers management.

I am fully prepared to be excited about this.

More often than not this FO/coaching staff knows what they're doing. If they're onboard, how can i not be?

OBJ has a house in L.A., friends on the team and a bad rep. This is a good chance for him to get right with one of the best locker rooms and team cultures in the league. Then he'll be in a strong position for his next contract. It's in his interest to make it work.

And i'm sure the Rams have thought it through as well...

Ten straight years of winning football. A championship along the way. Then one year everything goes wrong and they go 7-9. At that point the pundits will say "See, I told you so."
