Man, sometimes I forget not everyone can watch the Dodger games every night on TV. Pretty lame.

Tonight's #Dodgers lineup:

Crawford LF

Rollins SS

Seager 3B

Ethier RF

Utley 2B

Grandal 1B

Barnes C

Pederson CF

Bolsinger P

Unfortunately, you'll have to listen to Kruk and Co. call the game

On to the playoffs where anyone can catch fire. The hot team usually wins. With starters like Kershaw and Greinke we got as good a chance as anyone else. But lets not talk about the bullpen. Maybe they won't have to worry. The starter goes 8 innings and Jansen closes it.

Amazing what one win can do to someone's outlook. Yesterday they couldn't win a single game in SF and now they have as good a chance as anyone.

Just having fun with you Snack - sports fandom is like that.

You think I'm bad with the Dodgers you should see me with the Rams. I was actually concerned about the Dodgers winning in SF. They hadn't won all year until last night. And they way their offense relies so much on the long ball thats the worse park for a team like that. But this is baseball and sweeps are very hard. I shoulda known they'd win at least one.

lmao gonna start calling you buzkill! Kinda hard to razz you about the Rams though. Although, if they happen to beat the Cards.... will the sky still be falling?

I never really expected the Dodgers to go far into the playoffs with years team. We are pretty flawed, but hey anything can happen once the playoffs start. That's what makes it entertaining.

The Dodger bullpen is what scares me most. It seems like the formula that works in the playoffs is a dominant pitcher and solid bullpen to go with timely hitting. The Dodgers have two dominant pitchers. But a very shaky bullpen. Their hitting isn't all that timely but they can hit the long ball as well as anyone.

But again, the hot team prevails. They have as good a shot as anyone else. And if they keep making the playoffs their chances increase. Sooner or later they gotta get hot.

I'm with you there Snack. I absolutely HATE the Dodger bullpen along with how Mattingly mismanages it. It makes me wish they would bring the qualuude back some night.

Tied with the Mets for home field. It seems to be important to both teams. They both play well at home and have a losing record on the road. Starting Kershaw and Greinke at home would be big. Although DeGrom is a good pitcher for the Mets.

I woulda thought the Cardinals have the best odds. But Toronto does have a good rotation and some good hitters. The Dodgers have a good formula for success in the playoffs. A dominant pitcher can carry a team a long way. They have two dominant pitchers. But they might have the weakest overall bullpen. That would offset what the starters do. Kershaw and Greinke might have to go 8 innings. Jansen is pretty good as a closer, but the guys between the starter and him is scary.

Angels coming in hot if they make it might be a good value at 25/1...
