That Todd Kinchen was hella fun to watch in the open field...

I can remember this without looking it up: In Anaheim in 1992 he had two punt return TDs vs Falcons in same game.

Also, I saw him score a TD in SF on a Sunday night game on a sweet run in 1994.

Oh, but I looked up the game after (to make sure I was right) and not only did Kinchen score multiple TDS that game but so did David Lang. He had 3 rushing TDs.

I remember thinking he was going to be awesome. Good size, sprinter's speed. I will always remember his college for some reason - Northern Arizona. Also, I now know one of the guys I will be posting when it's 38 days until Rams football.

That was in 1995. Earlier that year Ken Norton Jr punched the Rams goal post.

He scored the first TD of the rematch and then kicked the goalpost. Then the 49ers turned on the faucet and killed the Rams. Again.

thanks for reminding me, I remember that scenario. Fun memories,,, other than the farty whiners beat us like 17 consecutive times (12/17/90 - 12/27/98).. YIKES

St. Louis Rams
Gilyard was drafted with the 1st pick in the 4th round (99th overall) by the St. Louis Rams in the 2010 NFL Draft. On June 28, 2010, Gilyard signed a four-year $2.32 million contract with a signing bonus of $552,000.

In his rookie season, he saw action in 11 games (including two starts), totaling six receptions for 63 yards (a 10.3 average) and 16 kick returns for 356 yards (a 22.3 average)

He was released by the Rams in the final cutdown after the fourth preseason game in the 2011 preseason.

New York Jets
The New York Jets claimed Gilyard off waivers on September 4, 2011. However, he was waived by the Jets on September 9.

Philadelphia Eagles
Gilyard worked out for the Philadelphia Eagles in September 2011 and met with the team again on January 5, 2012. He was signed to a futures contract the following day. On August 31, 2012 Gilyard was released by the Eagles. On September 11, 2012, he was signed by the Eagles. In six games with the Eagles, his only stats were two punts returned for 15 yards. On November 23, 2012, he was released to make room for Greg Salas.

2nd stint with the Jets
Gilyard was signed to the Jets' active roster on November 28, 2012. The Jets waived Gilyard on December 24, 2012. In two games with the Jets, he caught two passes for 15 yards.

Kansas City Chiefs
Gilyard was signed by the Kansas City Chiefs on February 9, 2013. On July 25, 2013, Gilyard was released by the Kansas City Chiefs.

Montreal Alouettes
On October 3, 2013 Gilyard signed with the Montreal Alouettes. For the season, he caught two passes for 16 yards.

Jacksonville Sharks
On October 31, 2013, Gilyard was assigned to the Jacksonville Sharks of the Arena Football League. On June 1, 2016, Gilyard was activated by the Sharks.
