So hopefully, it doesn't bite much into that 14 mil we have under the cap. And it kicks another rookie draft pick off the top 51, so that will lower the cap hit for drafted rookies.

DL on roster now.....A. Donald, B. Brown, L. Murchison, E. Brown, M. Copeland, J. Williams, M. Hoecht, T.J. Carter. What else do they have going on??? And does that take DT off the draft priority list?

IMO def better with Copeland in the fold, but I am sure we draft one or two DL in this upcoming draft but not one of the top 3 picks.

I think our top picks will (in no order) .... WR/TE, EDGE and CB.

Like the Coleman Shelton signing, re-upping one of our own like DT Marquise Copeland has no detrimental effect on our 2024 Comp Pick situation.....as our other re-signees so far were also in-house with ILB Christian Rozeboom and CB Shaun Jolly. Ex-Fin TE Hunter Long is now a Ram, but he came to us via the Ramsey Trade.....so again no dent on our estimated 2024 Comp Picks of:
two 6ths (Matt Gay $5.6M, Baker Mayfield $4M) and our two 7ths (Nick Scott $4M, Greg Gaines $3.5M). :idea2:

Taylor Rapp reportedly got less than $2million from the Bills for his OneYear Deal today. :o

Rams really think this out the box. The 49ers look like they are Brock Purdy and are done with Trey Lance.

I think they should trade for Trey Lance he’s the franchise Quarterback we can have on our team.

He’s not gonna play for two seasons with Stafford. I think we should pick him up. And he can learn from Mcvay.

I think he can clean up anything he did that was raw.

I gotta agree if we take the WR out. Edge, TE, CB and then the best RB available at #167. After that (in no particular order) C, LB, DT, WR,QB, PK, Edge with #251.

But I also think if a player slips they really like in one of the other positions they could draft one of them early as well such as QB.

Absolutely. Or if somebody slips who's not in their plans, they could drop a couple slots and pick up a 4th.
