Sounds like the Rams will have significant reinforcements if they advance.

As for the Bucs, I think they're playing games by pretending Wirfs is a game time decision. I'd be shocked if he plays.

Stafford’s 141.8 passer rating against the blitz is the highest mark reached by any qualified QB in the NGS era (since 2016).
His 17.1 percent QB pressure rate when blitzed this season is the lowest in the NFL.
He has a higher completion percentage (71.9% vs. 66.2%) and passer rating (141.8 vs. 93.1) when he's blitzed than when he's not.
16 of his 17 interceptions have occurred against four or fewer rushers.

Tampon Bay is the 2nd most blitzing team in the league.

I hope they are dumb enough to blitz us. However, they blitz at like a 35% rate typically. They only blitzed the Rams last game at 25% or so. Bowles knows better unless he has a real favorable down and distance.

Rapp must have really got his bell rung! I hope he is ok, I know he was in the last stage of protocol. I would have loved to have Jones and Whit, but lets roll with Noteboom and Howard.

Next man up! Whit will be all up in it on the sidelines. We could do worse.

i've always thought these type of vs the blitz stats said much more about pass pro than the qb - just because a qb is blitzed doesn't mean he's pressured (altho that's what's implied), in fact qbs can benefit greatly when blitzed if pass pro picks it up, time to throw vs less defenders in coverage... what stafford has struggled with this season is pressure, he ranks below middle of the pack according to pff "when pressured" grades, the good news is stafford was the second or third least pressured qb in the league in 2021.
