Not that I want the Rams to stay in St. Louis, but if they do, they really need to change divisions. Part of the reason they are often struggling with attendance is because they have no local rivalries.

If they were playing Chicago or Indy or whoever all the time, I think it would improve their overall attendance.

Of course, they'll never get into the NFC North so Chicago's out. ...actually, I don't want to get into re-alignment possibilities again. Just move the Rams back to LA and the NFC West is basically fine. Honestly, if it weren't for the damn TV deals, the NFC West would be awesome if it were SF, OAK, LA, SD.

There is absolutely NO WAY the attendance at the ED has been an average of over 50,000. NO WAY!!

Maybe they sold that many tickets this year, I would say around 40,000........maybe.........have attended.

Attendance is now tracked by tickets "distributed". So it counts all tickets sold and most importantly given away. So if the Rams see attendance is bad the drop some donations or give always for local businesses and all the sudden the so called attendance is 10k more.

Also if they moved the Rams out of the NFC west it might be the end of football for me.

Yeah, that would be a hard one for me too.

Combine those ugly blue unis they've got now, the thin horns, that dump in STL playing in the ice and cold, and in the AFC. That would definitely be a huge buzz kill for me.

They would be too far away from the Rams I grew up loving.

The main reason I stuck with the Rams when they moved to STL is because they keep the same uniforms and stayed in the NFC WEST.

I'm condemned for life so a division change wouldn't bug me too much. I've been around too long I guess. It used to be, I couldn't imagine the Falcons and Saints being gone from the West but you get used to it. Honestly, I'm not particularly invested in the Cardinals or Seahawks and would welcome a real rivalry. Chiefs/Rams could turn into a real nice inter-state grudge match for instance.
