I don't know how this game will shake out. I don't see us losing by double digits unless its one of those late pick 6's because we're down a score and taking chances.

We can win this game. But we're gonna have to improve the 3rd down success rate. We don't have to convert 80 percent of them. But we have to do better than 1 out of 12.

Starting games with a 3 and out is getting old. Doesn't help if the opposing offense starts with a good drive and scores, then we go 3 and out and the defense is back out there right away.

Seems like the problems are a combination of things. Receivers not able to get open. Receivers not catching a catchable ball. Quarterback not seeing the field well enough. Quarterback not throwing a catchable ball. Other things contribute like protection breaking down.

It just seems like you can't pinpoint the problems to one thing. They're just not executing on 3rd down. They're gonna have to get better or they won't be a legit contender.
