One thing that always stuck with me about Goff is how much he was loved by his fellow players at CAL. When he got drafted, there was a video of a theatre filled with his former teammates, they erupted when Goff went Number 1.

I always look forward to this thread after the game.

Thanks Elvis.

Not to nitpick, or second-guess our smart HC or anything after our thrilling victory over a very hungry and determined Packer team....BUT,

shouldn't have Mark ExocetMissile Barron got a GameBall for his tremendous stop in the EndZone and resulting Safety which swung the momentum to Los Ramos??

Gawd....did you guys see how Barron's head got flung back in that End Zone collision??? :shock2:
.....in SlowMotion, it was like one of those Department of Transportation Crash Test Dummies heads getting flung back in a simulated Head-On SmashUp with a Semi-Trailer. Kudos to Barron for launching himself into that hole and stopping the powerful GB RB Aaron Jones in his tracks......WITH HIS FOREHEAD!! :o

Kudos too for having the strength and resiliency to bounce back from that hit, and finish the game with 6 tackles (second to only Cory Littleton) and that game-turning TFL in the the Packers End Zone!

I know some guys think Barron is overpaid, but he remains one of my favorites these past few years!!! Lovie Smith was a dummy to trade this tackling-machine to us for some pocket lint and a warm six-pack back in 2014!! :idea2:

Some smart management of people. You notice people get game balls when we beat teams they came from. Even Talib got one after DEN in a game he didn't play. And sure Peters caught a "can of corn" interception (he has played well past 2 games), but to give him the last game ball and breakdown shows awareness, maturity, and knowledge of our weaknesses (i.e., what employee needs motivated to do better so we get the best team result).
