Here are our division standings heading into Week 8:

AZ 5-2 (AZ@Browns)
Rams 3-3
Hawks 3-4 (Hawks@Boys)
Niners 2-5

I don't think AZ will have too much trouble w Cleveland, especially considering Manziel might be in. However, Cleveland has been better than you would think at home this year - they beat the Titans and only lost to the Broncos by 3. So, who knows..an AZ loss would be great.

And, Hawks are favored by 6 but this is definitely an away game that they can blow even with Romo out.

I updated the injury report. This is the Wednesday report and Rams don't practice on Thursday, so nothing too real until the Friday report.

Rams

DNP - DT Fairley, DE Hayes, DE Long, RB Mason, S McDonald, DE Quinn
Full - TE Kendricks, LB Laurinaitis

Niners

DNP - LB Bowman, RB Hyde, DT Jerod-Eddie
Limited - G Boone, LB Brooks, S Reid, T Staley
Full - QB Kapadick, T Pears

Also, I learned my lesson last week taking info from the St. Louis Rams official site, which said that Austin was out on a hand injury, when NFL.com had the real reason which was thigh. So, no more taking info from the StL site.

For years recently, the Webzone has been a place of contention as I've battled hating on the 49ers while our Rams have struggled.

It is with EXTREME glee I read their comments this year about our game. I make no apologies for my delight. Their links are in my game day post, but here are some treasures.....Yes! some things just MUST be appreciated and Niner woes are top of the list.

lambs favored by 7.5
Gurley looks like a stud.
------
Devey gives up a league record in sacks. Kap throws a wild ball and kills a cheerleader. Tomsula starts to pace so hard the trainers are called to treat him for cramps. Vernon brings a clay wheel on the sideline and has a ghost moment with Jed. Patton manages to get a 30 yard penalty baffling the announcers. Bush gets hurt walking out of the locker room. In an act of desperation Hayne it's White in pregame warmups with a boomerang. Acker loses his man and ends up running with Fisher down the sideline on accident.

We lose 28-10
-----
Why does a cheer leader have to die?
------
We'll find out next year she was in a twisted love triangle with Trent's daughter.
------
Nick Foles gonna look like Brady
------
STL is tied for 2nd in the league with GB in defensive sacks. The stats are skewed because GB got to play the 49ers and racked up 6 sacks against Kap.

RIP Kap.
-------
If you play fantasy football, I would pick up STL defense with the quickness.
------
21-0 don't think we can move the ball on them
-------
This game is going to make the Rams look like a SB team
------
The 49ers opened as 7 1/2 point underdogs, last week Cleveland was only a 6 point underdog at St Louis. How bad is that to be considered worse than the Browns.
-------
I believe Aaron Donald will break the single game sack record. He's gonna throw Devey around like a rag doll
--------
Most sacks allowed by a team in league history is 12. That record is in serious jeopardy in this game.
-----
The Rams defense is just nasty. Kap is not going to have anytime to throw again. Rams might break the sack record this game.
Rams 17
49ers 3
-----
So maybe they put us out our misery. Do us a solid like with Alex ?
-----
This is like football 101. You'd think Chryst would know that since game 1. I have no clue what he's thinking.

We aint winning this game, I know that for sure...maybe its close...nah take that back.

Ok, page six visuals by our friend ChazBoner can't be posted here....link.

I don't see a Gurley thread, and don't want to make a new thread, so putting this here. I compared passing and rushing of Bell and Gurley for a Niner thread, and it's interesting. Here are their stats for the 3 games Gurley has played.

Week 7

Bell. Passing: 4 - 16 Rushing: 17-121 (vBengals) total: 136
Gurley. Passing: 4 - 35 Rushing: 19 - 128 (vBrowns) total: 163

Week 5

Bell. Passing: 4-16 Rushing: 21-111 (@Chargers) total: 127
Gurley. Passing: 0 Rushing: 30-159 (@Packers) total: 159

Week 4 (Gurley's first full game in the NFL)

Bell. Passing: 7-21 Rushing: 22-129 (v Ravens) total: 150
Gurley. Passing: 2-15 Rushing: 19-146 (@Arizona) total: 161

This game needs to be hurried up and played. It looks very good for the RAMS, but everyday in my local paper is another 2 or 3 stories about how the niners are imploding. FO blows, players not getting along, etc. Let the sleeping cat lie, don't poke sticks in his eye and tick him off. Wounded pride can get a team to play over its head for one game.

Our offense needs to show the niners they are outclassed from the get-go.
