He might start the games at the beginning of the season, but I think shortly after the season starts, Everett will get more playing time and have a much bigger impact in the passing game. I think Everett has a much bigger upside.

Please know that I have been on a seven days a week schedule since the 24th of February. The only day I haven't checked in on the Rams was this Saturday when I went down with heat exhaustion. Was glad to make it home at noon then stayed in bed sick until Sunday morning when I slept in to 0600, got up and went back to taking care of business helping my clients with their lawns. (weed control, bug control and fertilizer). Lots of bagworms and hordes of Japanese Beetles this summer.

This is the best web site in the universe. I spend more time on this site per day than I do talking with the Darby. (my Wife). She is allocated five minutes a day and usually runs over three or four minutes. Not to worry, I am keeping track.

I am a big fan of electric collars. If properly used they are fantastic. I currently have three German Shorthair Pointers: Mini, Dixie and Smoke. In the 45 days they got to hunt last season, in total they probably got zapped less than 20 times. Not counting the afternoon I zapped Smoke on the high setting for about ten seconds straight for running down and tackling and killing a skunk.

many moons ago i had neighbors who put in an electric fence for their labs, the fence was buried, the dogs had collars, i thought it was the coolest thing i had ever seen... thing is the labs would see a rabbit or the like beyond the fence and just take off, instincts just seemed to take over, blind them, they would forget about the collars, sprint through the electric barrier, let out a yelp, and continue on their way... when they were done with their chase, they would head back home, but couldn't get back into the yard, because they now remembered the electric fence, instead they would just lay down outside of the fence and wait for my neighbors to get home from work, it was the funniest/oddest thing.

They must have been male dogs. They are much more resistant to electric than females. If I put a collar on any one of my three female German Shorthairs all three of them instantly become good dogs.

Please understand that having an obedient dog is not being mean to the dog. Being mean to the dog would be having an out of control dog which is much more likely to get into harms way. I give my Shorthairs a lot of latitude when they are hunting. If they are not pushing to the limit they are not working to their potential. It is much better to bump birds than to not get close enough to not bump birds at all.
