The Seahawks are def in transition. Going to have whole new offense. They have no running back, no offensive line, and an aging, injured overpaid defense. I think they will be a rebuild mode, no horrible but not contending for division for a few years.

With Shanahan's offense backed by good defensive personnel, and McVay and Phillips in L.A., Seattle is feeling their grasp weaken on the NFC West. Pete knows that relying on Russell Wilson and sandlot football will no longer cut it in the division.

I agree they wouldn’t have had to allow it, but like with Olsen, I couldn’t see them blocking it if he wanted to go.

They only let them go if it is a promotion. LaFleur is already the Offensive Coordinator with the Rams. No lateral moves
