I know i'm the one who took it but in a way it's a cheap shot.

That said, St. Louis' murder rate is 6 times L.A. And L.A. isn't exactly known for being safe and crime free.

When you look at cities like Detroit and Cleveland, i think their sports teams are a part of helping those cities come back, a way to rally civic pride.

But the Rams aren't the Browns. The Cleveland Browns are Cleveland. The Cardinals and Blues are St. Louis, not The Rams. They have a 50 year history in L.A., as we all know...

OK, I live at the beach and consider seagulls, flying rats. They love landfills, but as a builder I have spent more than enough hours in a public landfill and never see that. If what you are saying is true, it's somewhat unusual. It's another tell about Carsonogenic site.

St. Louis Has the Lowest Population Growth of Any Big City in the U.S.

Dark times in St. Louis.

St. Louis had the lowest rate of population growth of any big city in the nation from 2008 to 2014 — notching a loss of 1.74 percent of its citizens even while most cities showed gains.

That's the conclusion of a new study by WalletHub, which measured a number of factors in a survey of U.S. cities. It ranked St. Louis dead last in population growth during those six years among cities with 300,000 residents or more — behind even Cleveland and Detroit for a ranking of 64th out of 64 cities.

Detroit lost just 1.53 percent of its population, while Cleveland lost 0.69 percent.

St. Louis also ranked 64th in the number of new, full-time jobs being created, and 61st in overall job growth.

In the overall WalletHub survey, which added up a number of factors to determine the nation's fastest growing cities, socioeconomically speaking, we finished 61st, besting only perennial losers Detroit and Cleveland, along with Tucson, which has policies in place to limit growth. (The No. 1 city in the overall study? Austin, followed by Miami.)

Oh, and in case you missed the news last week, we also have the nation's highest per capita homicide rate.

So where's the good news on this Tuesday morning? Umm, our baseball team is really good....

So how does this support the financial plan Peacock put forth. Seems to me their very aggressive numbers will become more difficult if the population wanes.

Gotta be that the Rams are at fault because they have been sucking. Too bad they didn't build that stadium years ago.

Well build a stadium for a team that doesn't want to be there and deprive funding for police, anti crime programs and revitalization / housing for more corrupt neighborhoods.

In fairness however we do have a Ram while there who added to the death toll in his day............Little. Even now when I see the game suspensions or someone being banned indefinitely. I still have to ask how does one who was irresponsible enough to drive drunk and kill a fellow human a woman who was a mother. How does the league only find such a act only worth a 8 game suspension?
