Was a nice argument for moving when they played in St. Louis. NFL money comes from TV deal, market size and stadium deals, not asses in seats. Look at SF stadium, empty. Rams are a top 5 NFL franchise in terms of valuation. Moving to new state of art place in 2020. When they eventually win, the stadium will be packed. No one cares about Coliseum years.

Most importantly, Jeff Fisher no longer works here. Rams 46- Colts 9.

It's interesting how LA Rams fans howled at a not full Ed Jones Dome; but when the Coliseum isn't full former/butthurt St. Louis Rams need to shut up.

LA is a sprawling metropolis with heavy traffic. The Coliseum is a total massive dump. No one lining up to watch a 4-12 team that looked like crap last year and that the media locally and nationally are killing. But at the end of the day, its never the reason they moved.

I gave you a "like" to your post ... (really I did) for attempting to use math ...

now let me ask you to really use math ... do some elementary demographics ... like tell us the number of LA residents within a 30 mile radius of the stadium vs the number of Stl residents within a 30 mile radius.

Levi Stadium had a lot of empty seats today as well and the Forty-Whiners have won 5 or 6 Super Bowls (too lazy to look it up). LA is a tough market. Win and you won't find a seat.

95 degrees with no shade, trying to develop a strong fan base and coming off of a 4-12 season where we had no offense is a tough sell. Keep winning, keep playing like a team, keep having a great defense and an offense that can go vertical and the fans will show up.

Let's not make this a LA vs StL thing. This was a Rams thing aka a commanding victory in all phases of the ball game. We should rejoice together...

Agreed there is no correlation between today's attendance and anything having to do with St. Louis.

this team has made a strong statement coming out of the gates and lots to look forward to ... lots more victories and the best stadium in the world gonna be here before we know it

Like I said before, it has everything to do with LA Rams fans complaining when the Ed Jones Dome wasn't full, yet telling St. Louisans to shut up when we say anything about similar attendance at the Coliseum.

But on the same side it's hypocritical for St. Louis Rams fans to say anything about poor attendance in LA when even though it had almost nothing to do with the team moving back to LA, it gave Stan a ton of ammunition to say that keeping a team in St. Louis would severely damage the entire NFL.

What it comes down to is residents of two glass houses throwing rocks at each other.

I agree with the original poster... It was noticeably emptier today than even Preseason Game 1 against the Cowboys. I'm not a fan of all the away team fans I've seen so far, at least on the Visitor's side either, but I think it's the dynamic of being an L.A. team that hasn't built a winning franchise yet.
