The eternal cheerleader.

The NFL isn't going to stonewall Kroenke and the better project because of empathy. I guess that's Bernie's new schtik. The attendance stance has become weak in lieu of the attendance figures the other day. Now it's about empathy and making Bob Blitz/Dave Peacock out to be saints and power brokers, when they hold none of the cards (the NFL and the billionares do, dummy). The voters of St Louis, nah, worthless. STFU, Bernie.

Daniel Kaplan of the Sports Business Journal joined The Ryan Kelley Morning After on Thursday to discuss the latest surrounding the future of football in Los Angeles following the NFL’s decision to delay St. Louis’ and San Diego’s stadium presentations to the owners. What are you hearing regarding the status of the Rams, Chargers, Raiders and Los Angeles?

"It's a very fluid situation. I was looking on my Twitter feed and saw....the state senators there saying they won't approve funding in St. Louis. If there's no deal in St. Louis, that makes things a lot easier for the owner. They will most likely approve a move of the Rams to Los Angeles in that case. If there is a stadium deal to be had in St. Louis, then it a much more complicated situation. That is a scenario in which I believe the Rams would stay in St. Louis, that the owners would not let the Rams leave St. Louis, if there's a viable stadium situation."

Bernie Miklasz on his radio show today, and in 1 segment he was discussing SK's intention to move the Rams to LA.

He said that if the NFL grants permission for the Rams to move that St. Louis could cry "Foul" and bring a lawsuit against the NFL for violating their Relocation Guidelines. He discussed several subjects on the matter, but the emphasis was on Kronke being allowed to move to increase the Net Worth of the Rams, a guideline that is plainly spelled out as valid reason to Not Allowing a team to move.

He said the Federal Courts would have a field day, and although I'm nowhere close to being educated in the legal arena (just a poor chicken farmer), I can read, and I tend to agree with him.

If they ripped the NFL over something as simplistic as a Deflated Football, what would they think about the NFL trying treat the City and Fans of St. Louis like so much fodder?

A lawsuit based on relocation guidelines? When did bylaws of members of a business become legal statues? In order for them to sue they would have to prove a breached contract or they were harmed by the NFL breaking some law or a legal contract or corrupt business practices. So Bernie is under the assumption he and the city have legal standing under bylaws that only pertain to owners who have forked out cash to buy into ownership of that business model? If they do file suit I am sure it will not be to make the Rams stay as they know legally they can't do that, but will be a suit to make some of Stan's money have to stay behind so they can use the funds to build their dreams of a redeveloped riverfront.

NFL Bylaws wrote:Article 4.3 also confirms that no club has an “entitlement” to relocate simply because it perceives an opportunity for enhanced
club revenues in another location.

Gonna be pretty hard to prove that's "simply" why the Rams are moving, though i'm confident it's reason number 1...

They have every right to file a civil lawsuit. They'd have a hard time winning it after arbitration but they could.
That would be like swinging for the fences bottom of the 9th, 2 outs, bases loaded, 3 men on, down by 3 and wiffing so hard you screw yourself into the ground for all to see,,,,, as the team rides off into the western skies in all of those Allied moving vans.

I got a chihuahua. The little sucker does bite. Ask my son every time he comes over. He nips his ankle, then wants to sit on his lap a few minutes later like nothing ever happened.
