Why are the Chargers skipping Round 1 (or even Round 1 -3)?

Makes sense for the Rams who have no Round 1 pick. Last year, Rams party was during Round 1.

Optics.

They probably don't want to start off with a big story, pictures and video of 300 Charger fans showing up for their first round pick party and have it compared to the 3000 rabid Ram fans partying for a second round pick the next day.

They definitely don't want head to head party's on day 2.

They can always spin a low turnout for rounds 4-7.

So, I guess their 1st round party is by invitation only so they can control the optics? Kinda fitting to have it at Disneyland.
