Still more Hokahey:

Here's some more honesty. I didn't necessarily get the warm fuzzies from our conversation. It sounds like things are very much in the air, but there is legit concern about staying in St. Louis.

There are aspects of this I have no doubt are leverage, but this team WILL move if they're not convinced to stay with a great deal.

This needs to get finalized NOW.

He also said Peacock is a master at making things work in the private sector, and has moved this as far as he can. But it's out of his hands now.

This last on sounds more like the reality. All this info does is give me pause. I'm sure Demoff just said the politically correct things to the crowd assembled before him.
The part about it being out of Peacocks hands is in direct contrast to what Pcock and the Gov have been saying. Also he spoke of leverage. Really?

I posted over there and thanked the poster but I wanted get in the revenues and that St Louis will have the same kind of conditions that Cincy has in their lease. They set aside about 16% of Hamilton County's general revenues each year and is at around $ 50 million now. St Louis will never do that and it will be a requirement because of 20 years of no renovations to the dome. Standard maintenance for paint, turf and a new tv's is not considered renovations.

Just think back a year.

Now the best the Save the Rams folks have to hope for is the move to L.A. isn't final?

Honestly, it's a sign of just how bad it is for the St. Louis hopefulls right now

No kidding. I remember debating with Hokahey and others before ESK tried to buy the Dodgers. Things didn't seem right in StL. The team (owners) were n't saying the right things or doing what would be intuitive. The Dodgers deal drove it home for me.
Long ago are the days of "you LA guys didn't deserve the Rams and you'll never get them back". Now let's close this deal.

ESK has been concocting this for years, dating back to when he took over ownership. I honestly think if the Rams didn't have a virtual guaranteed out clause in their stadium lease, Khan would be the Rams owner. Also, if ESK bought the Dodgers, he'd have a plan in play right now for an NFL stadium in Chavez Ravine.

Yup, just have to wait for the official announcement. No one is going to gleam any insider info from Stan's crew.

Rams are meeting with Peacock all the time?
Man, they really want to get that Jamba Juice deal done for Inglewood, don't they? :)
