Fisher needs to go and he needs to go now. I'm done with him and might just take my Sundays back for something constructive.

All of a sudden the Ds entire demeanor changed. Is that on Fisher? Williams?

Don't get me wrong.. they played a great game. But when the game was on the line, they fell apart. Completely.

Tannehill got forced to throw down the field and got hot. Simple as that to me. Their game plan looked awfully similar to ours up to that point.

The Rams looked an awful lot like the Jets from last week.

Miami looked like a team that flipped the switch when they needed to and pulled out a road win and continued their winning streak.

Neither really resemble each other though.

And you have to make a play. Simple as that. You certainly can't *not* make plays *and* get penalized.
My point is that his unit puckered up when it counts. This isn't really debatable, is it?
I love the D and it's effort.. but the Game was on the line and they couldn't get it done.

I don't debate that, but offensive ineptitude allowed that to happen. Go for and convert on the 4th and 1 (rather than try the long FG) and Dolphins run out of time. Aggressively try for a first down after the Dolphins first TD, and they run out of time.

Don't know how you blame the penalties on the coach. But yes, someone needed to step up with a sack or something.

Kick his ass over the Canadian border, please.

But the results matter. And, if you're as good of a D as you portray.. someone makes a play on one of those last two drives. There was nothing going on.

i dunno, that's a pretty tough sell for me.... when a defense holds an offense to 14 points it has done its job imo, you can't expect a defense to hold the bad guys to less than whatever an inept offense is able to muster... prior to this weekend teams were 48-5-2 when holding the bad guys' offense to 14 points or less and the bad guys didn't score any non-offensive points, and a perfect 12-0 when holding them to 14 and the bad guys didn't score any non-offensive points.. but this is the state of the rams, a team that's scored more than 14 offensive points in only 4 of 10 games, and more than the league average just twice in 10 games... and it just goes on and on like a nightmare you can't wake up from.

I have been done for 2 years. I only watch a few games a year now ands those are DVR. Won't watch this garbage live and waste a Sunday on it.

I don't see any rational way the D should be taking any blame for this loss.

Because too much responsibility is put upon them. We can't expect them to carry the game the entire time. They can't defend and win games at the same time. It's as if Fisher expects them to somehow contribute a score as well if they're to pull their weight.

I wish we could have Fisher as our DC and then hire a better, offense-oriented HC. This whole Fisherball "get ahead and then defend that lead" mentality is ridiculous when we have a frickin' QB with a gun for an arm waiting to be exploited.
