We'll have the chat going for every game. I'm sure it will pick up steam. This site is still pretty young and we're learning as we grow.

It's just preseason and I don't judge the team by watching them stink it up.

Yes I'm that guy^ lol.

I agree Fisher needs to put a little more emphasis on the early parts of these games. I'm tired of saying its just preseason and we start 1-3. Then we say its just September. By December we're saying who we drafting next?

I was not a fan of the Fisher hire when it happened but I'll say this. Spagnola tried to win games in the preseason, sometimes he did it and more than he won in the regular season. But if recent history holds true we will likely see the 1st team O for the first half this week then in week 4 it could go any way.

I think Fisher does not take pre-season the way we do and we will not know anything until game one v Hawks.
That would be fine if his method paid dividends. His Rams teams haven't exactly flipped the switch once the season begins so I think it's fair to criticize the approach.

I agree. I think. I'm one who says the preseason is meaningless but the Rams have started the season poorly during Fisher's regime. It couldn't hurt to gain a little steam going into the season. Maybe they still will.

Bingo

That said, im not concerned about the defense. I've seen what it can do in reg season and it has made enough plays for me in pre season.
The offense? It's abysmal.
I totally back the idea that W/l records mean nothing, but I don't think that teams who's starting offense can't score a single point in first 2 games is a measuring stick for success either

You asked me earlier about a preference between chats and threads and I have to chg my mind. The chat works good ,, much quicker and doesn't bloat the post count.

Here's Safer's take on the Oline from last night's game:

I hope the great experiments are about to cease. Last Tuesday in Oxnard, Barrett looked fairly solid at center and Rhaney really showed up at LG. Today, we start Rhaney at center (and he was getting pushed back into the pocket); and Brandon Wash. at LG. Brandon W., is very, very bad at re-balancing when he gets pass rushed and often gets beat quickly. I just wish our coaches would make their decisions so that our Oline can gain continuity!!! Almost all of the pressure came from the center and LG spots.
The right side of our line is not what is causing most of our issues. GRob, when blocking down is just awesome. He crushed a couple of guys tonight. But on one running play over RG, he let OLBER Orakpo slip underneath him to make the play for a loss. Greg just needed to ensure he brush blocked him and we would of had 5 yds. Benny C, on an early 3rd and 3 tried to put on a move and got tackled about 2 ft short of the first down. He had it if he just would have bulled his way. Rhaney was getting bull rushed at driven back. But, on one pass play, he took on the NT, and drove him into Brown at RG. Then he saw a late blitz, and made a helluva play to slide to his left and totally cut block the guy about 2 yds into our backfield. I just like him a lot more at LG than I do center. I REALLY hope Paul B decides which 5 guys he wants to go with and start them NEXT week so they can get on the same damn page. Donnel, who I was not high on after Oxnard, was the only one I thought had improved over what I saw a few days ago.
