haha. That's a popular strategy - often against the Rams in the past.

The first year I played this game was in 2011 (a Rams 2 win season). I gave myself the extra rule of never picking against the Rams.

Halloween weekend almost the entire pool was knocked out when we upset the Saints. Was awesome.

No Brady. At Arizona. How can I lose?

For now, my Week 1 pick is the Cardinals.

Thanks for organizing this RedAlice!

On a Bears forum they have it as 3 strikes and your out.
No one can get past week 8 anymore on just one strike.

Wrong. I've lasted longer than that in a game with the same rules, many people do. But if someone wins early, they still win. That's how the game works.

If you don't like these rules, then don't play. Pretty simple.

eta: I also think the true winner is someone who never missed a pick. That's why I have two rounds, with a true winner who never missed a pick, and then a runner up who only missed once.

I looked at last year's game (about 80 people play) - the winner won in week 10 and the consolation round was won in week 11. That's pretty good, considering week 2 last year was a bloodbath of upsets.
