Three huge cap casualties that were not close to the worth of their salaries. Any of them.

James and Chris I liked but never felt they were anything more than average at best. Now that the LA attraction is there, I believe we can get better players for much less cash in those positions. Others as well.

Hang on. Its going to become a very interesting ride. :)

None of these guys are coming back. They are gone for good.

This draft is deep at DL, we can replace Long's production.

JL was a joke. It was painful watching him last year.

Foles will be cut next.

Rams now have almost $60M in cap space.

Won't be surprised if they go after Cousins.

Tru, JJ and McLeod signed for a combined $28m leaving 32. Sims, Hayes, Harkey, Reynolds, Cunningham all resigned for another $12 million leaving 20. Rookie class takes I believe I saw our estimate at just under $5m leaving 15m roughly for other free agents. Just quick off the top of my head numbers.

I expect them to resign Barron. Don't expect him to cost too much. Donald was raving about him last week. Said Rams need him.

Needed to be done. Cook and JL hopefully are gone for good. Long I wouldn't mind back at a team friendly contract. Organization is going to need a few vets for the transition to LA this season IMO.

Raider station here in the Bay Area going nuts on the release of Long and JL. Noon to three guy who is also the Raider play by play guy says the Raiders need to sign both now. Doesn't understand what Fisher is doing. I guess he hasn't wantched much game film on JL the last few years. Best over pursuing run MLB in the NFL. So many are misled by his tackle stats and never actually watch him play.

I can see O Tree working in a Luke Kuechly type role

That is a lot of speed at LB. SAM backer not on the field all that much but Ayers wasn't bad at all in that role - if he can be resigned. Or maybe Hager will be the SAM

Looks like more time for Mo Alexander in Barron's previous role of so/lb hybrid.

Ogletree was listed as a MLB going into the 2013 draft, so the move there now is logical. Listening to AO with Roggin I thought he sounded like a guy who has matured and put his character issues that caused him to drop in the first round of the draft behind him.

Regardless, the Rams need to focus on the offense in this draft and FA.
