Other teams have literally contained Allen. We had to make it a track meet. He doesn’t score 6 TDs every week. We have one of the worst DB platoons in the league and yet there is some talent there. We’re not going anywhere until we do to the back 7 what we’ve done to our front 3-4.

I would assume because of Verse Fisk Young & Turner we hear talking heads say things like the Rams D has played great all year. Not the games I’ve watched but we’re at least being competitive. D needs to take a big step tonight. Maybe it’s more Shula than the talent.

Rams came through with what is likely their best D performance of the year. Consistent, unrelenting effort all night and it wasn’t the front DLine although they did their job with 3 sacks. The DBs covered the Niners all night.
