Not worried about the Rams playing on the road. Seems that other than being close to home when they play at L.A. the competition usually seems to have about as many fans at LA than the Rams do.

I suspect the Rams pass rush to be outstanding this season even without AD. I think Rams defensive coaching was unimaginative about game planning when AD was there. Shoot, maybe the Rams will trade Jones and maybe AD will play MLB!

Stetson Bennett dealing with a family matter? Uh oh. After last year I'm seeing red flags with this guy.

My first thought as well. He better not Eff this up. Supposed to be back for Weds practice. If he isn’t, Houston - we gotta problem.

Even if everything is good now, I'll still be wondering if there will be another time off situation later. Its like an employee who tends to call in sick on Mondays. After a while you expect it to happen and you wonder how long the boss will tolerate it.

The Rams gave up Jones and a 6th round pick. The Rams will get the Titan's 5th round pick next year. Considering how well they pick, that could be a very good player.

People are making too much of this trade. They point to the sacks and pressures Jones had last year. Part of that was lack of pass rush so they needed to blitz, and part was Jones not what they wanted in terms of coverage by a LB. So if Jones can't cover he should blitz much like Adams in Seattle.

The bottom line IMO is that Shula wanted an ILB who he could play like an ILB (i.e. quasi SS). Ultimately I see this as a non-issue. The Rams don't need to overpay for an ILB while still fielding what looks like a very good and deep defensive roster.

And they have depth and variety of styles plus a mix of vets and rooks at the spot. Ther will only be one on the field 60-70% of the time as most offenses are in 11P most of the time. Against SF and other 12P, heavy run teams and teams with true FBs, they will possibly run more true base D.

Def more concerned that we will most likely be missing both our starting tackles and facing the Hutchinson on a Sunday night game in Detroit. We didnt control him well in the playoff game with our starters.
