The game is in LA. If the game was in Philly, I predict the Eagles would have been favored by 10.5

I've done this, 12/8/02, trust me, you did not miss out on anything. It was so damn cold at that game. Highlight was talking to a guy in a Warner jersey at halftime (I was plainclothes because I am not stupid), and Eagles fans lowering their shoulder into him going by and looking back at him like "Just give me a reason."

I think the line is that people feel like the Eagles just aren't playing consistently enough and that maybe getting Kupp back will help the Rams chances.. I would have expected around 7 as well.

Rule of thumb is 3 points for the home team, so if it were in Philly it would be 7.5 pts. Then again vegas moves the line to bring in more money on one side or the other.

It's 3 points each way so 4.5 in LA, 7.5 on a neutral field, 10.5 at Phili.

But books aren't really doing 3 points anymore, more like 1.5. So i'd figure 6 neutral, 7.5 in Phili, though i think the spread is probably gonna move up some...

Perhaps we're catching on. They've got tape and watched us play. The Eagles are averaging 29 points per game and the Rams are averaging 25. That's right about the spread. We're at home too so there's 3 points..

For the FIRST time, we'll have Coop and Nakua playing together. How are they going to scheme their D to something no one has ever seen? Sean's gonna be havin' a ball creating this week's game plan!

Any other coach would have a ball.

But the one thing that always irks me about McVay is how conservative he is. Guys not going to change. He’ll have sets where they are both out for sure, and I bet both Kupp and Nacua will get openings for each other… but it’s not going to be as creative and as bold as it could be.

But I still trust in the dude and so do his players.

Actually, the Eagles would be 7.5 point favorites, on a neutral site, which means, if the game was in Philly, the Eagles would be 10.5 point favorites.

Mathis and Kupp will come off of IR this week but, again, keep in mind, they have 21 days to evaluate, practice and decide if/when to put them on the 53. So both could play this week or it could be longer.

From Jourdan:

Other Rams injuries: Left tackle Alaric Jackson (hamstring) had a pre-game workout on Sunday but McVay said the Rams erred on the side of caution in holding him out. Jackson’s workload could increase this week. Left tackle/right guard Joe Noteboom is dealing with a groin injury. Tight end Tyler Higbee has a thumb injury, and running back Kyren Williams also has a hip injury.

McVay added that the Rams will also start outside linebacker Ochaun Mathis’ 21-day window off of injured reserve this week.
