And what if you're watching the game on TV? Could you sit there and root for them to lose? I have never done that as a fan.

But watching the game and hoping they don't get a crucial first down? Hoping they don't score a crucial TD? Wanting the other team to score?

Even if at the end a loss would be satisfying I don't know if during the game I could do those things.

I don't care if there is a prospect who looks like a combination of Tom Brady, Joe Montana and Bo Jackson. I don't care if the team is entering a season in which there is no reasonable hope of contending.

Gnarly movie. They actually toned it down. The original screenplay had Cathy Bates cut off one of his feet and cauterized it with a hot knife.
They went with the log and sledgehammer instead.

A little off topic but ESK is killing it as an owner. 3 titles 3 years in a row in 3 different professional sports. Has that ever happened? I really doubt it.

I have to admit there were times that I thought they should just tank it. However, fully convinced I was just ticked that like many of us that have known each other for years. I would take the biggest drink of the cool aid at the start of the season to only feel like wow I am a sucker in an abusive dysfunctional relationship........LOL

When I have to go to my VA appt's for the mental side. They will review my record and say oh we can see from what you have been through why you feel like you do. I always correct them and say oh heck no that does not come from combat, that comes from being a life long Rams Fan.......LOL
