See this doesn't make sense to me. You want to cut Noteboom saving 2.5 mil while taking a 13 mil cap hit but you want to keep Allen? Cutting him saves 4 mil with 2 mil dead money. And his knees are chronic. At least Noteboom has had 2 different injuries. If Shelton opts out, they can cut Allen save some money and sign Shelton (who was also injured this year) to a deal with linited cap ramifications this year. Then draft the guy for the future.

From Cam:

https://theramswire.usatoday.com/2023/0 ... ague-year/

Two simple moves can get them under the cap before March 15, and it doesn’t require them to release anyone. First, they can restructure Cooper Kupp’s contract, thus creating $14.19 million in cap space. That almost gets them under the cap right there. The second move they can make is restructuring Bobby Wagner’s contract, which would save them another $7.75 million in 2023.

That can work as well. But if Sheldon opts out, I know he would want a lot more money than Allen. I feel Coleman Sheldon will be asking for $8 Million per year. We will need someone to play Center for next season.

Well that was a politically correct mixed message if I've ever heard one...

It’s the Rams; always open for business and I would venture to say only Stafford, Kupp, and Donald are untouchable. I would hate to see Ramsey leave but, they have drafted a number of young corners so you never know.

And I don't know if it's Morris's system or not but JR doesn't seem to be the same as he used to be.

I don't see the Rams trading Jalen, unless we get a first round pick, back in return.

I wouldn't expect them to trade him but......if they did, the compensation would be multiple picks with a first rounder included. Of course if it was more salary dump than talent fade, they might take less. A 2nd and a 3rd?
