Not sure how much Atlanta will tell us but yes, A Rob has to factor significantly. More about losing Woods than Von, IMO. As that goes, the platoon at OLB and the blitz packages with Wagner have to have close to the impact/results as having Von did. That will be a bit hard to measure but basically, making a play in pressure situations, consistently. Also, we may not sign OBJ but, find a way to trade for more edge pressure. IF, the WR group as a whole becomes really effective. In that sense, Atlanta will tell us something as it’s the first/next step in that department.

Makes you wonder if all that, “we want Odell back” was just posturing. Makes no damn sense. Make him an offer that is respectable. He WANTS to be here. Don’t use that against him. Especially seeing that your WR corp is Kupp and NO ONE else. And you are bottom 10 in scoring, you are dead last in running the ball, and 2-3 with an extremely difficult schedule after the bye
Whiners, Bucs, pack, chiefs, chargers, raiders who can score, shehawks x2 who can score, cards. Not a single “gimme” on the schedule left.

Maybe we should go 03 personnel with 1 TE occasionally in the backfield and have Kupp, OBJ and Higs/Hopkins in the pattern with the other + an OT in line blocking. Can even go 13 with Skow as the “back”. Something has to give and we have to at least be able to throw the ball to guys who can create after the catch. OBJ is one such cat.

OBJ on Twitter with fans tells us pretty close to nothing. I'm sure he wants as much as he can get, i mean who doesn't? But is any of this telling us anything? I doubt it. Also, who knows when he'll be ready or how much he'll be able to contribute when he is? Everyone is talking like he's pre-injury OBJ right now and that's simply not the case. A lot of unknowns.

Not about you at all. Keep sharing.

Some of the stuff on Twitter is insane. I was commenting on that.

We're here to talk about stuff. Keep it coming...
