Too early to start talking about the HOF with Kupp. With Donald? Stafford? Whitworth? Sure those 3 are all HOFers. And to your point "this was not his 'only' good year", you are correct. He has the most receptions by a WR the last 3 years (331). Adams, who had 123 this year is 2nd with 321. Allen who had 106 is #3 with 310. Touchdowns? Adams is #1 with 34. Tyreek Hill has 31. Kupp has 29. Allen has 20.

Anybody want to bet Kupp won't have another good year in 2022 with Stafford under center? He's averaging 6.1 receptions per game over his 5 year career and he's only played 1 year with Stafford. Adams is averaging 5.8 per game and he's played his entire 8 year career with Rodgers. Allen is averaging 6.3 per game. He played with Rivers for 7 years and Herbert for the last 2. A younger stud, Justin Jefferson is averaging 6.3 per game in 2 years with Cousins. Look for him to have another big year with Cousins and O'Connell calling plays.

I'm not worried....hell, I'm not even thinking about the HOF for Kupp.....5 years into his career. But he's right there with ALL of the top receivers currently in the NFL so we'll have to see how that shakes out. One thing we should note.....getting into the HOF as a WR is a lot tougher than QB, RB, DE (DT sack machine). Probably about as hard as it is for a CB. There are more WRs and CBs on a team than any other position.

Bar any injuries, I can see CK averaging 1400 yd and 8 TDs for the next five years with Stafford.

Those numbers alone should give him at least 4 more PB & AP...

That being said, that would put him in the same category as Calvin Johnson stat numbers.

Anytime they lead with "This is no disrespect to Kupp" There is going to be a shit ton of disrespect. The fact that he went on to say that Kupp is around 7th or 8th on his "list" just proves what an idiot he really is. We all know why he ranks Kupp so low and it isn't because he hasn't gone to enough Pro Bowls.
Every time he came on Total Access leading up to the SB, I would fast forward past his ass because he offered ZERO analysis.

James Jones' takes border on homerism and inaccuracy. He did this annoying thing calling Joe Burrow "Jo Jo Burrow" or Joe Mixon as "Jo Jo Mixon" on the The Ringer NFL Podcast. Not sure the reason why he did that, but it was noticeable he was always anti Ram in his takes. I don't expect everyone to side with us, that's homerism. However, I expect if you're going to be quasi journalist or "experts" on the subject to be more objective than James Jones is. We all know he wasn't the reason GB won that title. Kupp was definitely 1A or 1B the reason we're defending champs next season.

Well if you want to seem to have a keen eye and see things way up the road, you don't go with the obvious like the Rams!!! They just won the whole thing. You gotta roll the dice, pick a team with an unknown, yet supremely talented QB. That way....IF...he does well you can take credit for seeing it before most. If he doesn't there's always a ton of reasons, other than the QB directly, you can point to for that failure.

And let's face it, it's tough to repeat. Who is going to predict a Rams repeat? Few. They're not the Chiefs with Mahomes. Or Brady with anybody!! I wouldn't be surprised if Brady is in the MVP running next year, despite being retired!!! What makes me laugh is when Stafford throws a no look pass or sidearm dart, it's called a Mahomes!! He was doing that shit when Mahomes was in high school. What Mahomes does, is a Stafford!!!
