In kevin's 1/20 interview, He talks about Community outreach...

- Community days once per month where staff go out to community (build playgrounds; refurbish football fields)
- Ticket donations
- Demoff Dreamers

LA Kings night.

Just like the Dodgers and Kings do, they have Kings night at a Dodger game and Dodger night at a Kings game.

Integrate into the city and join with the other teams to celebrate all of LA sports, unite all the different fans together.

BC, I hear the Lakers are looking for some friends.

Billboard sponsored by RFU? Might need more members for that to be affordable ($2500 per month 14'x 48' illuminated) but good ad for both. ?

I'm working on composing a couple of Rams jingles.

Partner with local news affiliates in some sort of contest giving away tickets to raise Rams / LA (RFU) awareness.

Attending the games..

Great ideas, everyone. Let's keep 'em coming.

We have the ear of the Rams' front office, and with them wanting to integrate into a "new" community, I think they'll be open to everything.

I'm just warming up, but we should strike while the iron is hot. Something public. (That is why a billboard could be great for the team advertising, but also any sponsors and RFU would have space on it.)
Mostly, we develop a relationship with the Ram on different levels.

Organize charities or fundraisers for different LA needs. Uhhh, a clean graffiti day, or perhaps feed/warm LA homeless day (Rams hoodies, beanies caps). What does LA need??

Rams outreach organized with/by RFU and funded by sponsors and Rams who would get media spin.

Car washes with Ram cheerleader (I'll volunteer for that) to raise money for the above. Get the beast to advertise it. Proceeds go to St Judes.

Also working with the local media helps on the back end. DJ's talk show hosts, newspaper writers alike are geeked the Rams are back and are always looking to things to get extra exposure for themselves.

Feed the beast in the name of the LA Rams and Rams Fans United.

So now,,, who is independently wealthy and has the time to take any of this on ? I will definitely contribute.

I want in on all of these Ram related events! I'm especially excited for Draft related events if they happen! The Rams could send Rampage to USC and UCLA and have him and few cheerleaders and even some PS players just meet and greet and walk around be seen. Get them down to Venice and walk the boardwalk there as well. Just hit the usual LA spots like the Hollywood sign, Rodeo Drive, Sunset Blvd.... etc. Ohhh yeah, Big ass Ram's Billboard on the Sunset Strip. I'm talking one of those fancy 3D live action ones with the sweetest looking Ram you've ever seen.

Emphasize the rivalry with the 49ers and NFC West rivals now that it can be a true regional rivalry up and down the west coast.

Tease the new throwback if you got the idea of it already. I know a lot of us are bummed that the current colors seem to be staying for the next 3 years. A new throwback would be a nice bone to throw us to make us forget about the bad uniforms.

Have an official Ram Tailgate at the Coliseum. I don't know of any cooler aspect of football than chilling with friends over a cold one, a hot grill and talking about the match ups about to happen. I've never had that at a pro game, let alone a Ram game. My UCLA gating has prepared me for this upcoming season!

Also this might sound silly, but are the Rams hiring?! I know I'd be interested in applying and working for the organization if there was an opportunity.

walks, runs, or biking decked in bright "welcome home rams!" tshits (with ramsfansunited.com sponsorship credit discretely printed on them as well!), requiring a registration fee that covers expenses with the balance going to rams charities...

I strongly suggest that everyone check out the Community Outreach section in the Rams Media Guide (http://rams.1stroundmediagroup.com/). It starts at page 579, and talks about ALL of the things the Rams have done in the community. I think it's a great source of ideas.
