I still don't understand when the players can come back under current rules. Thought it was 2 negative tests in 24 hours? So these guys could be good to go?
First game in SoFi with Sea fans and don't want to need to make excuses haha.

Yes that is the standard, but how long the virus stays in the system is unknowable.

Nope. Currently it is 2 negative tests over 2 days (48 hours).

I understand that it is being discussed at the league meetings to reduce the requirement for fully vaccinated asymptomatic players. That could come down today. Let's hope so.

If these guys all have it, it supposedly takes up to 21 days or more before negative result comes back. The NFL protocols are shorter than that but I can't see all the guys who just came down with it this week test negative soon enough for Seattle.

PC has been discussing something with league officials as reported. Game canceling?

Shouldnt they have had plans for these types of scenarios? Do we not know that even all things being equal that the holidays raise case count? The variant was a surprise but still should have been thought about in a billion dollar league.

I just think it is silly that important games will be played where certain teams with have a significant advantage for no good reason. What happens if this occurs during playoffs or Super Bowl??

As long as Stafford, Kupp, Higbee and Donald are clean, you shouldn't have to worry about Seahawk fans!!! :D

What I find bizarre is they say they don't believe it can be transmitted on the field. I guess because it's "outdoors"? But if it's spread through droplets, how can players not spread it when they're breathing heavy and exerting themselves strenuously throughout the game? And why so many positive results right after the weekend games? I don't think they know exactly what's going on. Cancel a week of games, go virtual, no matter the condition of the rosters and back everything up a week. Stop guessing and get a handle on it. Can you imagine the most important 4 weeks of the final season being fooked up as well as the postseason?

Does anyone have the list of all players and potential return status? Can’t find that anywhere in the interwebs.

From the 1st page of this thread.
Return status unknown but possibly affected by the new protocol rules.
