I was banned from a site that I had enjoyed for more than a decade, and I was furious last year when it happened because they did it without explanation. I was called a fool..an idiot..a.nd much worse because I felt the Rams would move home. It's a mixed crowd of St Louis fans, many silent /less vocal fans, then there are the aggressive, unfair online nazi's that want to silent dissent. IN the platform of forums, there is often no way to be sensitive to the good ones and strong toward the jerks..or at least I don't know how to do it. I am done with 101ESPN (station that I have listened to faithfully for 10+ years), Post Dispatch and Forum, and there is pain and loss involved. It's just time to move on. My own opinion is, this is one issue on which everyone should just let everyone else speak their mind to their heart's content and not fight over the details. So this is me doing that---expressing how I feel, and I hope it is taken that way. Anyway I have several St. Louis friends who are hurting from this. I sympathize. I know many of them who express themselves on this issue with dignity and class. I am a nomad myself and live nowhere near the team and haven't for most of my life (though in the distant past I lived in both so.cal and st. louis). I always say for me, the Rams hometown is tv. But I will miss my friends who are good St. Louis posters who are dropping out...and they include some guys who have well-deserved reputations on multiple boards. Different Rams communities on the net are losing regular St. Louis posters. So the MOVE doesn't have much of an effect on me. Losing people in the communities? That does. The Rams move to St. Louis coincided with the advent of social media and internet communities. As I result, like a lot of people, I got to know a lot of St. Louis fans. We're losing many of them. To me that is completely understandable, but sad anyway. I don't feel the way they do but I don't blame them for how THEY feel.
