Wecome aboard Maxx and Canuck.

I distinctly remember Mike Guman returning an onsides kick for a TD. (I really hope that actually happened.)

And Mike Wilccher, i really thought he was going to be a star but he never quite made it that far...

It's Canuckramsfan from RRF, but I am going with CanuckRightWinger here......because, as I also post occasionally at TheOriginalHerd and still sometimes at Ram Stalk as Canuckramsfan.....well, I just thought this new whiff of warm Pacific air from SoCal that I started to feel wafting over me last evening (AND....Thank You Mr. Jerry Jones!!)....

well, I just thought this great historic turn of events of returning Los Ramos to whence they came deserved an historic name change.....

besides the hockey connection (which is coincidental BTW....but oh, so Canadian, eh! :) .....the RightWinger is more significant in identifying my political stance on things.

"Yeah, so what's you're point? Do you think Georgia Frontiere moved Los Ramos to Saint Lou from SoCal two decades ago because she missed the four fooking seasons???!!!

NO, THAT BLEACH-BLONDE GOLD-DIGGER MOVED THE FRANCHISE SHE INHERITED FROM HER DROWNED HUSBAND, CARROLL ROSEnBLOOM, FROM SOCAL TO ST. LOUIS FOR M-O-N-E-Y...

I am pleased to start posting here and look forward to the day I can make the 24 hours of drive-time down to Los Angeles from Vancouver and watch my beloved LOS ANGELES RAMS play outdoors in the West Coast sunshine!!

So far I only have one technical problem with this site.....

By the way, can you drag PARAMFAN over here? It's way too friendly in this place and I need someone to argue with.

I think he just posted in the Uniform thread.

Against the Bengals. Same game Ron Brown made an awesome diving, spinning TD catch thrown by that Ivy Leaguer, Jeff Kemp.

Mind like a steel trap when it comes to my Rams! All other topics? Pfffft.

Welcome aboard.

When I first saw the "right winger" reference I thought it was about your politics... LOL :)

It just sounds right. It makes sense. It feels natural.

Just wanted to introduce myself with my first post on this board. I also posted this in another Rams forum today. I went from 1 Rams board yesterday to 3 today.

I have been a Rams fan since the day I was born in 1968. I grew up with them and have stayed with them through the STL years and now back home.

It feels like being reunited with long lost friends, doesn't it?!

I watched McCutcheon run all over the league. I've seen Jack Youngblood destroy QBs. I witnessed the Super Bowl breakthrough of 1979 and the heartbreak as a 12 year old watching them lose SB XIV (WADDY WAS OPEN!). Watched Ivory Sully block the Wersching FG in 82. Got to be a part of the Dickerson years and the early/great Everett years. Saw Flipper run off through the tunnel in New York and watched him set the single game receiving yards record. Loved every second of the 5 sack game Kevin Greene had on Joe Montana. And I got to be part of the GSOT years and the SB XXXIV victory.

My guys growing up were Pat Haden, Lawrence McCutcheon, Jack Youngblood, Eric Dickerson, Nolan Cromwell, Kevin Greene, Jackie Slater, Dennis Harrah, Henry Ellard and Isaac Bruce.

I also loved our lesser publicized guys like Bill Bain, Mike Guman, Anthony Newman, Rod Perry, Mike Barber, Mike Wilcher, Ron Brown, LeRoy Irvin, Toby Wright. The list goes on and on.

I look forward to a renewal of our great LA-SF rivalry. But mostly I look forward to an annual trip to LA with my son each year and CANNOT wait for opening day. I hope we will be there tailgating from the early hours with my long standing Rams brethren.

Enjoy this day! LONG LIVE THE LA RAMS!

Now go kick some Niner ASS!

Been a fan of yours for awhile. Welcome aboard man!

OMG, so many memories I had forgotten. Having so many old timers together in one place is beyond belief. I'm so looking forward to being able to take my son with me to games, and to introduce him to you guys and this group legacy.

My sentiments exactly - both with old timers together and taking my son.

I said this earlier, it's like being reunited with old friends. The kind of friends you have so much in common with that you can go years without talking and then when you see each other it's like it was only yesterday.
