I'll be very surprised if the NFL plays a single game in 2020. Who in their right mind is going to sit in a crowded 60-70 thousand seat stadium while a pandemic is still raging, and with no vaccine yet in sight ? Stadiums are in large urban neighborhoods which are suffering the most from this disease, and the attitude we witness on the news of those who won't comply with social distancing has already been well displayed. We'll likely see the 2021 draft before we see another live game, and that's going to really be a crapshoot if/when college football is also cancelled. Most coaches are older and if not already in, many are probably close to that vulnerable age where Corona-19 has statistically caused higher death rates.
I'm still waiting on the players union to comment, although the silence may go right up to the beginning of OTA's, but if Goodall and team owners start pushing, I imagine we'll see some pushback from players. jmo.
