We lost Gurley. We drafted a damn good RB
We lost Cooks. We drafted a damn good WR
We lost Fowler. We drafted a stud Edge rusher
We cut Robey-Coleman. We drafted a kid who is NFL ready, can play the slot or safety
We grabbed a real good TE who if his drop problem is corrected could replace Everett next year.

Did we do more than the teams in our division? We'll see but I'm liking what McVay and Les have done so far....and there's 4 more lottery tickets left! No team has ever won the Superbowl in April.

I think I will wait to A. see if we even HAVE a season and...
B. See how the teams actually play on the field. the Rams are probably back to averaging over 30 points/game. Not many teams can beat you when you hang 30+ on them. And, our D is actually improved overall with new vets and vets returning - some from injury - and growth of younger players. We will be able to consistently pressure the QB? We will see, but I think so. I think Obo and the new Edge guy will make up for the loss of Fowler and the sacks/pressure lost when Mathews left will be made up by remaining committee. JMHO.

Oh and, the OL will be greatly improved based on growth and development, running more 12 personnel, and having a legit run game - which we just didn't have last season.

Grades are meaningless this time of year. You have to wait two or three years to get an idea if you had a good draft. And if you thought one draft could make this team great, you are likely mistaken. We had plenty of chances to make a great team when we had multiple first round picks years ago. Didn't happen. Relying on rookies to make you great in their first year is an exercise in futility. If the team is great this year, it was great before the draft.
