Thanks for your work.

There isn't anything sexy about an OL draft pick .. at least not since Orlando Pace. So I am guilty of not giving the necessary importance to this NEED.

If anyone says that 2020 is the YEAR for the Rams to draft for NEED, I can't argue with them.

The Rams are a team that needs anchors on the O-Line ... 5 of them if possible ... if we get one in the draft I will be very happy.

So it turned out to actually be a total of 7 OLinemen picked in Round One....
with Cesar Ruiz and the 6 OTs. 8-)

I see the only miss was where Josh Jones the Houston OT was replaced by OT Isaiah Wilson of Georgia.

We'll see what talents drops down to Los Ramos tomorrow.

Yeah, I was hoping that kid would slide. They can get a RB at #84. What do you think? Edge and WR at #52 and #57, unless they trade down. Of course if Dobbins, Taylor or Swift make it to #52, that'll be hard to pass on.

I wonder just how high they are in Henderson. Took him pretty high last year while having TG. Although they probably knew TG was an issue then. But, they say the right things about Henderson. Still need another body or two in that group.

Could the Saints and Peyton have been bigger Dbags than to draft Ruiz who should be a Ram. He had a second to third round grade. With a few other reaches in the first hopefully this will set the Rams up to get their targeted guys.

Side note, Ruiz didn't look the part of a Center while on the draft links tonight. Now Austin Jackson looks every bit the part for Miami. Now they had a solid draft IMO.

I have zero against Helaire besides the fact he isn't a Ram. So is it horrible I wish he turns into Trung Candidate? An order of Sour Grapes Over Here Please!

In honor of Les Snead, my Day 2 Draft Trade has us moving both of our two 2'nd round draft picks (#52 & #57), along with TE Gerald Everett ... to New England for pick #37 (2'nd rd.), #71 (3'rd rd.), and #125 (4'th rd.)

NE addresses their TE need and moves down to take a QB (Eason @#52 ?), and still has another 2'nd round pick to play with.

The Rams could then take :

#37 - OT Ezra Cleveland, B St.
#71 - DE James Lynch, Baylor
#84 - ILB Troy Dye, Or. St.
#104 - RB AJ Dillon, B.C.
#125 - WR Gabriel Davis, UCF
#126 - TE Colby Parkinson, Stan.
#199 - ?
#234 - ?

jmo.
