I think there is no way we use both 2nd round picks on offense, unless it involves bundling them to make a trade. We need a run stuffing LB!

Where's McVay's bread and butter? Offense. What's the best way to win in the NFL? Offense. I think they can get a good Edge and run stuffing LB in the 3rd. I don't want them to pass on a WR like Hamler (or another 'playmaker' WR) OR a RB like Edwards-Helaire (another playmaker who is great in the passing game).

But what about the OL, some might ask? Maybe they really are okay with what they have and will grab the best available in the 4th. We'll see. My wants are selfish fan asks. But like McVay said when he first arrived....."you can never have enough playmakers". I agree.

On the other hand, I expect Snead to trade one of those seconds to pick up a late third or another 4th round pick and get all of those guys.

That would be my top priority. It would be a shame to waste Donald's best years by not havin' an outside rush to limit the double/triple teams he faces.

We play in the NFC West with SF and Seattle. Those are run heavy teams. We absolutely need to stiffen our run defense if we want to win our division. I stand by my assessment.

I agree. Didn't we already move in that direction with Floyd and Robinson? Both very good against the run. Plus they should have a healthy Kizer at ILB, someone they are still high on. I'm sure they will add to the defense but first things first.....we lost two pretty good playmakers in Gurley and Cooks who need to be replaced. It was more than evident by our offensive production without their old selves this season. I'm fairly sure McVay hasn't turned into Buddy Ryan. Our free agency haul has consisted of a run stuffing NT, a run stuffing LB, Brockers, Whitworth and Blythe. Anybody else see a pattern there? Nothing in the playmaking department of which we're suddenly a little bereft.

A lot of fine ideas. But it'll all be a moot point if there is a zombie apocalypse in the fall. Unless of course, some quality players can be trained zombies.

That would give more meaning to the phrase, "he took his head off".

I know a lot of you are pushing for an edge rusher......but in my eyes, we already are paying Floyd $10 mil to do just that. With youngsters Samson, Obo and Polite out there who are earning more time, I think we are pretty flush at that position right now, as opposed to Mlber; Oline and wide out.
Rushers usually take 2-3 years to develop (unless your name is Bosa) and we now have three talented guys who aren't yet fully there.

That’s legitimate. I hope they move around and get they guys they have targeted, almost regardless of position. Except QB and 3 Tech.
