Sadly, regarding Gurley's contract, the Rams painted themselves into a corner.

The Rams need to honor the contract they made in a timely fashion, and convince the fans that they won't make serious major salary cap space mistakes as they did with Gurley.

I don't know if anyone is arguing that the Rams don't owe Gurley money. But I'm willing to wager that we don't have all the details about that transaction, how late it is, who called or didn't call. If someone in this thread knows better, let's hear it. But the point I'm making is that a multi-millionaire football player whining in public about money is pretty distasteful and quite infantile.
