Pat Schurmur is now head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles...

Pretty surprised by this even though there have been plenty of rumors predicting it. More surprising this year was Kelly's continual lack of adjusting to defenses with his play calling on offense.

One bad season gets him canned. Too bad for him he wasn't coaching the Rams. It takes the worst coaching in the history of the game to even get you considered for termination.

P.S. this means a new coach and system for Bradford yet again. Has any QB ever had as much instability in his career? I thought Alex Smith had it bad but Bradford is cursed.

what's bradford's contract status with them? does he even stay?

This was the last year of his rookie deal so he's likely going to hit the open market. Obviously, it depends on who the head coach is going to be. Does Shurmur have any kind of shot at that job I wonder? One interim game doesn't seem like much of a chance to show what he can do.
