A couple weeks ago I kept saying Wade wasn't going anywhere. But I wasn't aware his contract was ending after this season. I'm pretty sure he wasn't going to be fired. But not renewing his contract is definitely a possibility. Question is, where do they look for a new DC? Sure would be interesting if Jeff Fisher returned as a DC. Not sure how that would go over. But he does know how a run a defense. Is Greg Williams job safe in New York?

There might be as many as 5 or 6 head coaches gone this week. Rivera, Jay Gruden and Kittchens are already gone. 2 or 3 more could join them. Might be a few DC's available as a result. And then there might be a number of defensive position coaches and assistants available too. Who knows?

I mostly agree but he said after taking over for Fisher that being a HC was now something he'd want to do. I've also noticed at camp he's more involved with other units (mainly offense) than he was in 2016.

So if he has any dreams of upward mobility he might wanna see if he can be a HC or maybe offensive coordinator in college, or something with more upside potential then where he is now...

Man, the route of becoming a HC from ST coach is surely the road less travelled.
John Harbaugh is the exception and not the rule. Dave Toub hasn’t ever gotten a whiff at A HC job and he probably has more endorsements than anyone...
The way his ST have seemingly regressed I’d be more concerned about being able to get any job versus a job upgrade if I’m Fassel
