I still say the deal is done, and everything that we're hearing about is media noise or politics to placate anti-ESK owners

Sure feels that way.

Also interesting is that the last time the Rams wore yellow jerseys was 1994.

I try to play devils advocate.

But every time I try to make a case for Carson getting approved, I keep coming up with show stoppers.

I'm saying that:

  • what the public gets told is generally very different than what's going on behind the scenes.
  • there is probably a split amongst ownership, but that that split is or has already been dealt with because it is obvious which deal is best for the long term interests of the NFL.

My guess is that Goodhell alreayd knows which cards he needs to pull to make Inglewood happened, and either those cards have been pulled, or they are about to be pulled. And when those cards are played, everything will fall toward Inglewood.

Yup, maybe Spanos can get a bigger piece of the relocation fee by stomping up and down, but he's lost this game.

Everything you hear regarding NFL relocation has been from the Carson PR machine. They literally have planted everything. Plus you have the idiot writers in St. Louis that are all anti Kroenke, all the time. ESK never speaks and the only person advocating for Inglewood is Mayor Butts, and that happens once every 3 months. It's an avalanche of bs.

I dont understand why this is necassary, its not like they will pick up and go home.
I want the Rams back home in LA as much as anyone. But at this point I believe the Carson project is an absolute threat.

They wouldnt be refusing to let him go to LA if there wasnt a competing stadium concept in LA.
If he wants to move o San Antonio, San Diego or wherever, they wont be able to stop him
