That's simply a fact. And the only SB titled was delivered by those players. Any "RAMS" list without them on it is null. I understand greatest Los Angeles Rams. But hell, the "LA" Rams played in Anaheim for quite a while as well.

personally i find it impossible to look at it as "those st. teams", they're all "rams teams" to me, so needless to say i didn't really understand the op's decision to exclude rams players during the time the rams organization set up shop in st. louis.... that said, what i never got, or will ever get, was the ridiculous decision to include dierdorf, wehrli, wilson and smith along with rams greats in the ring of fame at the edward jones dome, what a bunch of bullshit imo.

That was the crux of the problem and the disconnect that St. Louis and the Rams had.

It wasn't the Rams Ring of Honor, it was the St. Louis Ring of Honor. The freaking seats were Cardinals red for crying out loud. The city/region just couldn't grasp celebrating the team and made it about them. Well, in a sport driven by egos and respect, that wasn't going to fly.

It really was a microcosm of why St. Louis lost the Rams.

Bruce played for the rams for more than one year, be it LA, STL does not matter. The Rams are, have been , and will always be The Rams, true fans stick with the team no matter where is has been based at, and do not set some kind of requirement that they have have played in a particular city where the team was based.

That point "STL" team delivered the only SB trophy is moot. The NFL championship game is just that. The SB title is marketing, they have only called it that for the last 50 plus years. The fact is The Rams have 3 NFL Championships. To say something like that comment only serves to degrade them. The Rams have 3 World/NFL titles. If you cannot accept, respect, and say that, well then maybe your not such a fan. True fans respect, and claim the teams entire history.

I am of the opinion that Faulk, Pace, Bruce, and Warner should all be on the list (in that order).

Also, any all time great list for the Rams that does not include Aaron Donald AND Todd Gurley is not worthy of consideration. Just look at what they have accomplished in comparison with some of the other players on this list.

Exclude St Louis?
So no Tony Banks, Mardy Gilyard or Alex Barron?

The rams are the rams no matter where they played. This should include both imo.

Eric Dickerson certainly in the top twenty but no way #2 on the list in my opinion for his hold-outs and fumbleitis. His lack of willingness to be a receiver out of the back field after Nolan Cromwell decked him also drops his rank.

I can understand his hold-outs to a degree. Eric Dickerson still can't figure out why he made less money playing for the Rams than he made playing for SMU.
