Last year, they went 8-11 in April. They finished 78-59 and 4 games behind the Red Sox. Still in the playoffs though. This year? Even if they go .500 the rest of the month, they'll be 8-17. Even if they have a strong May-October like they did last year (.569), they'd still only end up with 86 wins. But since the Parrot left Canada, I don't see a finish that good. The old proverbial, "you can't win it in April but you sure can lose it" seems in play here. I know it's early but........

They're a little better but only 9-9 since the 3-12 start. The Giants are officially the worst team in the league today. And that does not break my heart. 8-)

As a Giants fan, I would be happy to take a 3-12 record.

Giants are an example of a team getting too old and too comfortable. Bochy is a HOF'r, but his ticker has slowed him down and this team needs new blood at the helm...a new outfield, a new 1B dude, new bullpen and an infusion of youth. Too bad for them their minor league teams blow, all are in last place.

Their FO needs some firings and reshuffling as well.

All in day's work when you're a fan.
