Another legend gone. Man, all these guys I watched as a kid. I guess that means I'm getting older too. You just don't think of these guys being in their 80's. Time flies by whether you're having fun or not.

Just watch the 2013 Dodgers season opener against the Giants. Young Kershaw on the mound and Scully calling the game. It was immediately noticeable what a different energy and 'vibe' that game had listening to Vinny's call.
There is absolutely no doubt that Vin Scully was the greatest baseball announcer of them all. The Chick Hearn of baseball. We LA sports fans were blessed to have those two as the daily voices of our teams.
